Web Developer (WordPress/Elementor)

We’re looking for a WordPress/Elementor Developer to join our international team.

Your main responsibility will be to turn Figma designs into clean, responsive, high-quality Elementor pages, using your design sensibility to make smart decisions when adapting layouts and handling visual assets.

This role is ideal for someone who loves building beautiful websites, enjoys both technical and visual problem-solving, and wants to grow within a hands-on team that values autonomy, quality, and continuous learning.

ROLE

Elementor Developer with Design Sensibility
Full-time · Remote · Flexible hours

You will be responsible for implementing website designs using Elementor, handling visual assets, and maintaining high standards of design consistency across pages and devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build clean, responsive Elementor pages based on Figma designs.
  • Adapt desktop designs to tablet and mobile using good judgment and visual sensibility.
  • Handle and prepare assets such as icons (select, recolor, optimize), images (crop, compress, adjust), and short videos (trim, combine, compress for web).
  • Maintain consistent spacing, typography, and design patterns across pages.
  • Add custom CSS and JavaScript when needed for alignment, spacing, animations, etc.
  • Follow established components and brand guidelines without needing everything pixel-specified.
  • Troubleshoot layout or technical issues independently, using AI-assisted solutions when helpful.
  • Deliver work reliably and communicate progress clearly.
  • Self-organize your workload to meet deadlines without needing micromanagement.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with the team, attending occasional check-ins when needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Technical

  • Proven experience building custom Elementor websites (not template-based).
  • Ability to translate Figma designs accurately and extend them logically when needed.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and breakpoints.
  • Comfortable writing basic CSS for styling and layout adjustments.
  • Able to handle light video editing (simple trims, combining clips, compressing for web).
  • Able to focus deeply when needed, including occasional “website-in-a-day” sprint days where efficiency and speed matter.
  • Basic visual editing skills for working with icons, images, and other assets.
  • Strong eye for spacing, layout, hierarchy, alignment, and overall visual cleanliness.

Design & UX Skills

  • Able to create clear, easy-to-scan layouts with good visual hierarchy, spacing, and typography
  • Understands basic UX principles: readability, contrast, clickable areas, and intuitive flow on desktop and mobile
  • Pays attention to interaction details (hover states, buttons, forms, feedback messages) so pages feel polished and easy to use

Work Traits

  • Reliable and consistent, with strong communication. You respond quickly during work hours, keep us updated on progress, and are available for feedback or quick calls when needed. You don’t disappear, you communicate clearly, and you make collaboration easy.
  • Fast learner who actively improves skills and uses AI when needed
  • Good communicator (English required; Spanish is a plus)
  • Self-managed and organized — you take ownership of your tasks
  • Interested in long-term, stable work with room to grow as the agency grows
  • You have daily availability during agreed hours so feedback and communication can happen smoothly.

COMPENSATION:

$500 USD per month to start, with the possibility of increases as your skills, responsibility, and contribution grow. This role is intended as a long-term, stable position for someone who grows with the team.

  • You miss deadlines, forget tasks, or require reminders to stay on track.
  • You are inconsistent in communication, slow to reply during work hours, or tend to disappear when needed.
  • You only want to code — this role also requires working with images, icons, videos, and other visual assets.
  • You are not interested in learning new tools, improving your skills, or stepping outside your comfort zone.
